Sono's Management Team consists of:
Kim Thomsen
President and Chief Executive Officer
Kim founded Sono Shipping LLC in 2000. Before founding Sono, Kim
worked 13 years for Armada Shipping A/S and the last 6 years as
President for Armada Shipping Inc (USA). Prior to Armada, Kim worked
for 5 years with J. Lauritzen A/S Denmark. Kim has a degree from
Copenhagen Business School and has served in the Danish military.
Ivan Santos
Executive Vice President
Ivan joined Sono in 2001 as Operations Manager. In 2005, Ivan became
the Executive Vice President and now oversees Chartering and
Operations. Prior to joining Sono, Ivan was Operations Manager with
Clipper Houston and Australia 1992-2001. Before Clipper, Ivan worked
for Merlin International and Netumar Lines in New York. Ivan has a degree in
Aeronautical Sciences and is a Reserve Pilot in the Brazilian Air Force.
John D. Bright
Chief Financial Officer
John joined Sono in 2003 as the Financial Manager. In 2005, John
became the company's Chief Financial Officer. John was formerly an
Assistant Financial Manager with Clipper Americas, Inc and also an
Accountant with them since 1996. John has a Masters of Business
Administration degree.
